2012 To-Do List

I don’t believe in resolutions. I believe in setting goals that are both reasonable and reachable. Without further adieu, here’s my 2012 to-do list (which may be modified with new goals or revisions to existing goals).

Run 100 miles over the course of 2012;
Write 5 GOOD songs;
Get printed at Threadless, Design By Humans and Woot;
Drink 1 gallon of water every day;
Draw 1 thing every day;
Blog once a week;
Run two 5K’s;
Be a better father, husband and friend; and
Record as much metric data about my daily activities as possible.

There it is, folks. Let’s give ‘em hell in 2012!

Hello, friends! I’m happy to announce that my favorite ghoulish trio of ghosties are back in action over at shirt.woot. Ghosties has been reprinted along with a number of other shirts for shirt.woot’s Shirtoberfest. Ghosties is even better this time around because it’s available in kids’ sizes (starting at 4T). I’m not sure how long this trick-or-treat treasure will be up for sale so act fast!

T-Shirt Tuesday – Michael Jackson Edition

Say what you will about Michael Jackson – and there’s certainly a lot to say – the one honest to God truth about the man is that he made some really incredible music. Name one artist in the 20th century who weaved the magic of music and cinema together like MJ did with Thriller. While you’re racking your brain trying to come up with an answer (hint: don’t waste your time, no one comes within a country mile), here’s a handful of MJ related tees for your viewing/wearing pleasure. JAM ON!

I really dig the minimalist approach to this. As previously mentioned, Thriller was (is!) so huge, it’s tough to pass this one up. $22

RIP Michael Jackson available at Print Liberation

One know a Print Liberation print when you see it and this MJ memorial tee is no exception. At only $16, this is a steal.

Eating Brains, Throwing Shapes available at Threadless

Aled Lewis (aka Fatheed) knocked it out of the park with this tee. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a good zombie tee? Eating Brains, Throwing Shapes is sold out in most sizes right now but I think Threadless might be compelled to reprint it given yesterday’s events.

Last but not least is a tee from yours truly. MJ is joined by Teen Wolf and Young Frankenstein for a showdown of epic proportions. I own a copy of this and I assure you, it looks dead sexy. $18? Deal!

My wife and I are excited to finally announce that we’re having a baby! We’ve been keeping it under wraps since early April but the cat is officially out of the bag. Little lunchboxbrain jr. (or “Peanut”, as we’ve been calling it) is due to arrive in late November and we couldn’t be more excited.

Any advice, pearls of wisdom, do’s and don’ts and other anecdotes from parental readers is greatly appreciated!
