Is $28 for a tee a bit steep? Yes. Is $28 for this incredibly iconic masterpiece a bit steep? Hellz no. I dig the color palette against the red tee and the beauty and freshness of the design is just perfect. Kudos Turtlehead!
Well, well what do we have here? Another self-promoting blog post? Why yes indeed – it’s my blog and I’ll post what I want on it. Tongue in cheekiness aside, I’m really excited about my latest print, Song Bird.
Song Bird Available at Tilteed
Song Bird is a found art collage that I designed awhile back but it’s finally found a home at Tilteed. If you don’t know about Tilteed, you should really check out their site. Even though it’s a new site, they’ve already got a great collection of tees. They do a week long pre-order where the newest shirt is only $12. After that the cost bumps up to $18 which, in my humble opinion, is still pretty reasonable for an awesome tee like Song Bird.
Global View Available at Simply Complicated
Grant Tucker is grinding out some really great tees at Simply Complicated. Word on the street is that Jay-Z (you know, that super famous, insanely talented rapper dude), is a big fan of SC’s tees. Hey, if it’s good enough for the Jigga Man, it’s good enough for the world. $23 and you’ll be rollin’ like a P-I-M-P.
The Seasons of My Mind Available at Teefury
There are a lot of things to love about this Wotto-designed tee. The big print, the perfect color palette, a great concept – but what’s really cool here is the slight departure from Wotto’s signature style. While I love Wotto’s awesome character illustrations, it’s refreshing to see work from him that doesn’t really look the part. Well done Craig! Act fast and scoop this up for $9 because it’ll be gone forever as of midnight tonight.
Between The Eyes Available at Threadless
Threadless usually doesn’t reprint tees from their Select line but just last week, they reprinted several Select tees including Between The Eyes by Ron Lews. The subtle skulls mixed with the 80′s feelgood shades makes this a pretty bad ass tee. If you’ve got $24 to spare, pick it up.
Full Moon Available at Teextile
The Halloween blitz is upon us! Full Moon, available for just this week at Teextile, is very subtle but very bad ass. You’d be batty not to pick this up for $15. Bats…get it…see what I did there?
So rather than compiling a bunch of new shirts each Tuesday (which I’ve done a pretty poor job in doing), I’m going to do my best to pick a shirt a day that you should seriously considering adding to your wardrobe. So without further adieu, here goes the first of TeeDay!

This is truly a showdown of epic proportions – a lone knight vs. an army of fiery robots. Call it a modern day David vs. Goliath if you will but there’s no doubt that this is a great collaboration between master wordsmith Evan Ferstenfeld and designer extraordinaire Mark R. Skipper. $24.

Despite my best efforts, T-Shirt Tuesday is a day late. But I’ll be damned if this TST entry is a dollar short. There’s a ton of great new tees out there so let’s get this party started!
I’m actually glad I’m writing a day late otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to plug this unbelievably rad tee by Leon Ryan. There’s a shortage of awesome red shirts out there but Man vs. Music is fighting the good fight. It goes without saying that any band would be lucky to have this guy on their roster. This tee is only available for purchase today so get your rock ‘n roll ass in gear and buy your copy now!
Masters of the Universe at Designbyhumans
Rob Gould is one of my favorite tee designers in the game and his DBH tee is fantastically fun. In the battle of unicorns vs. dragons, score one for the unicorns. If you pick this up today, it’ll only run you $15. BARGAIN!
Again, all hail the red tee. Double props for the all-time classic Space Invader imagery. In my humble tee enthusiast opinion, this tee truly belongs in any video game fanboy/girl’s tee collection.

As a former hurdler, I LOVE this shirt. As a dude, it saddens me that I can’t buy it. I hope the good people at No Star hear my plea. $24.

I’m having a hard time expressing how awesome this tee is. So a smiley face will just have to do.
